The Green Smoothie I Couldn't Live Without

I always find a green smoothie is the way to go if you're not feeling particularly hungry in the mornings or if you just need a light pick me up.

    My favourite one contains:

    • Three tables spoons of coconut yogurt
    • 1 heaped table spoon of flax seeds
    • 1 kiwi
    • 1/2 banana
    • 1/2 green apple
    • Coconut water to preference
I then add 1/2 an avocado if I want it thicker or 1/2 cup of oats if I want to feel fuller.

    My Favourite Summer Smoothie

Living in Marbella this was 8/10 my breakfast. I LOVE mixed berry smoothies and who doesn't love them in a posh glass too?

    This one contains:

    • 1 handful of frozen mixed berries
    • 1 handful of spinach
    • 1 coconut or strawberry yoghurt
    • Coconut water to preference
Add pineapple if you've got a bit of a sweet tooth!

    Homemade Roasted Red Pepper Hummus!

A simple guilt free snack that I love! I often buy hummus ready made but found that it would be a lot cheaper to make myself and it tastes great too.

    • 1 can of drained chickpeas
    • 3/4 cup of roasted peppers
    • 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
    • Half squeezed lemon juice
    • 1 garlic clove
    • 1 tsp paprika
    • Pinch of salt
    • Pinch of pepper
    • Water to thickness preference
Blend and use carrots to dip! I use a NutriBullet and buy bunched carrots.

    Berry Bananza Smoothie

This is one of the easiest smoothies to make which is why it's one that I blast up most mornings for work as my breakfast or lunch! This smoothie is similar to my favourite summer smoothie but the chia seeds give it that extra health kick and the banana helps to thicken it up and tone down the sweetness of the berries.

    • 1 handful of spinach
    • 1 handful of frozen mixed berries
    • 1 banana
    • 1 coconut yoghurt
    • A generous helping of chia seeds
    • Coconut water to preference

    LDNM Protein Powder Smoothie

If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter (@jasmineliza_ for both) you will know that I am obsessed with LDN Muscle workouts and now their products too. This smoothie is great for getting the protein in their and giving you a boost! I love having this as a midday pick me up.

    • 1 level scoop of LDNM Raspberry Ripple protein powder
    • 1 handful of spinach
    • 1 handful of raspberries
    • 4-5 strawberries
    • Coconut water to preference

Any tips, feedback, suggestions and enquires welcome!
